The final season of Arrow is almost here, and the cast and crew are currently hard at work filming the first few episodes of the show. Not surprisingly, Stephen Amell has shared a few behind-the-scenes photos on the set of Arrow Season 8. But is it possible that Amell is trying to avoid giving away too much? The actor may have hinted at Oliver Queen's new suit in the CW show.
Fans are understandably disappointed that Arrow Season 8 will be the last one of the series. However, it also means that the cast and crew will be able to give Oliver Queen a proper send-off before the show ends. There are already speculations that Oliver's suit will prove the character's evolution in the past eight years. On the other hand, it might also mean that the Green Arrow is going back to his roots.
The theory is given some support by Stephen Amell's recent post on Twitter. Amell shared a photo of himself with frequent Arrow director James Bamford on the set of Arrow Season 8. Although the actor's face and background can be seen in the image, Amell went out of his way to cover up his costume. Not surprisingly, this has led to speculations that a new suit will be revealed in the final season.
Interestingly, Oliver Queen's Season 8 suit had already been revealed a month ago. Entertainment Weekly shared the photos of the Arrowverse stars in their costumes, and it clearly showed Stephen Amell in a vivid green suit. However, it looks like the costume Amell is wearing in his tweet is a drab grey suit. Could this mean that Oliver will have two different suits in the final season?
There is a huge possibility that the scene Stephen Amell may have been filming is a flashback scene that will bring him back to the island of Lian Yu. This could explain Amell's dirty face and what appears to be the forest in the background. Interestingly, it might also mean that Oliver Queen is going back to the island for a secret mission connected to his past.
So could this confirm that there are two different suits in the final season? It's possible that Oliver Queen will be wearing the new green suit in the present and future.
