Is Imposters season 3 ever getting made? The show is currently raking a lot of new viewers on Netflix, where the second season dropped last April 2019.

According to Decider, the dark comedy starring Inbar Lavi has become Netflix's most binged-watch series as of spring. Even then, however, there doesn't seem to be any news if Imposters season 3 is coming back on the streaming platform.

In June 2016, Bravo confirmed that it is not pushing through with Imposters season 3. Co-creator Paul Adelstein told TV Line that while they never expected the cancellation, they also had realistic expectations given the changing landscape of television.

"It did really well on Netflix, and it was doing similar to [what] it did last year, but the economics of television are super complex these days," the co-creator said. "There's a lot of content, as we all know. Unless something is an absolute zeitgeist hit, then nothing is necessarily safe. So, I think we were always cautiously optimistic."

At that time, the actor and series creator also said that they are exploring the idea of bringing Imposters season 3 to another network or platform. Since then, however, there have been no reports of a deal with the owners of the show, Bravo and Universal Cable Productions, and another outfit to bring Imposters season 3.

Fans of the show have even launched a petition to save the series. Less than 30,000 signatures have asked Netflix to sign on Imposters season 3 since its first and second season are doing well on the platform. However, aside from the tricky business of rights and ownership, it might be hard to bring the cast together since they have new shows and projects currently keeping them busy.

Aldestein, for example, has recently joined the cast of Chicago P.D.season 7. He's filling the slot of Jon Seda, who decided to leave the cop series on NBC.

Lavi, on the other hand, is on Netflix's Lucifer season 5, which has started production in July and will likely be out in the spring of 2020. Rob Heaps is also working on his new TV show Dare Me, which recently wrapped up filming in Canada. The show is set to launch on USA Network in 2020 as well.

Parker Young is in the cast of CBS' Super Simple Love Story while Stephen Bishop is filming several movies, such as The Fastest Man Alive and Chagrin.
