The Neymar saga continues as another report surfaced earlier today revealing juicy details about the Les Parisiens' forward player. According to a new report, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain is eyeing the star of Crystal Palace Wilfried Zaha as a possible replacement for the Brazilian forward for £100 million should he leave the team this summer. Additionally, PSG has a delegation sent to London to have a talk with the eagles.
Paris Saint-Germain is also considering Paulo Dybala of Juventus. But, reports claim that a move for the Argentina striker would not supersede any attempt to ink a deal with Wilfried Zaha. Everton and Arsenal were both associated to Zaha this summer with Crystal palace telling its Premier League rivals that they value the forward player at £100 million. Throughout the transfer window of the Premier League, the 26 years old player lobbied for a transfer.
As with Neymar, his future is still one of the hotly debated with a consistent torrent of reports associating him to his previous team, Barcelona along with its fierce rival, Real Madrid. Thomas Tuchel, the manager of Paris Saint-Germain earlier said that Neymar will not play until the situation is already settled. Although the Premier League's transfer window has already shut, the Spanish and French teams can still ink deals with players until September 2.
Tuchel stresses Neymar could play, but he will respect the decision of the PSG leaders. Until a final decision has been made over Neymar's future, he will not take to the pitch." #PSGTFC — Jonathan Johnson (@Jon_LeGossip) August 24, 2019
The Crystal Palace, at this stage of the season, is highly unlikely to entertain a sale unless the offer is too good to turn down. The Eagles will not be able to have a replacement until January 2020. Wilfried Zaha made five assists and nailed 10 goals in the Premier League in the previous season.
However, he has yet to find the target in the upcoming 2019 -2020 campaign. Crystal Palace has scored four points from their first three games and seems likely to one of the teams of lower mid-table clubs that are just above the demotion zone. Without Wilfried Zaha, the Eagles could hastily turn into a candidate for relegation, making it a sale before the January window very unlikely.
While the PSG acknowledges that replacing Neymar is almost impossible at this point, the team manager believes that Wilfried Zaha is the perfect candidate to offer the flair and style that would be lost should Neymar leave the French capital for Spanish giants' Real Madrid and Barcelona.
