Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a new staff in their employ, and she's supposed to be the person who can fix their "reputation" with the press following a series of controversies.

The staff, Fiona Mcilwham, is officially the Sussex couple's private secretary. According to a source who spoke with Daily Mail, the diplomat who has worked under former Prime Minister David Cameron "is the safest pair of hands you can get and that is what the couple need right now.

Mcilwham is replacing Samantha Cohen, who confirmed just after Duchess Meghan gave birth to Archie Harrison, that has resigned from her position. Cohen was also a former aide of Queen Elizabeth.

The new staff's hiring as private secretary comes as Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry received heavy criticisms for using a private jet during their recent holiday trips. Critics were appalled that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had at least four gas-guzzling trips in 11 days when they have been professing about the threats of climate change.

Duchess Meghan was also heavily criticized when her bodyguards accosted a man at Wimbledon for violating her privacy. It turned out that the man was not aware Duchess Meghan was in the background of his photo as reports say he was only trying to take a selfie of the venue to send to his wife.

Before these incidents, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have also received much scrutiny for the million-dollar home renovation of Frogmore Cottage. They have alienated some of the press after deciding to keep the baptism of their son under 25 guests.

Mcilwham's main role as private secretary is to take care of the correspondence coming in and going out of the Sussex royals' office. She is also supposed to coordinate the royals' busy schedule and supervise the other staff.

Speaking of schedules and coordination, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have to rely on Mcilwham to make sure that their split from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Royal Foundation is carried out properly. Another report from the Daily Mail confirmed that this separation has now been made official. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan's names have now been officially removed from Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton's charity.

Royal watchers say that this "split" is beyond the orders of business in the palace. There are still those who insist that Prince Harry and Prince William are feuding with each other despite palace insiders saying that dividing the two houses is necessary because of the future roles of Prince Harry and Prince William in the monarchy.
