Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have displayed a photo of Princess Diana in the nursery of their nearly four-month-old son, Archie Harrison, at Frogmore Cottage. Reports revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want their child to learn of his grandmother who tragically passed away 22 years ago.

According to Us Weekly, a framed photo of Princess Diana is on display at her grandson's room to honor her memory. If she were still alive today, the People's Princess would have been mighty proud of her grandson and his parents.

Princess Diana would surely dote on her grandkids today because she has always loved children. In the royal gatherings, she would be there to carry the babies of the other family members while playing with her young boys.

Incidentally, Princess Diana died on Aug. 31, 1997, due to a car accident in France. Prince Harry, who was barely a teenager at that time, have openly talked about how her death affected him. He also once said that his mother would approve of Duchess Meghan and they would both be best friends had they had the chance to meet.

"He still gets very emotional talking about it," the source told Us Weekly. "One of the things that first attracted Harry to Meghan was the way her kindness, determination, and strength reminded him so much of his mom."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to visit Princess Diana's grave on the anniversary of her death. According to The Sun, this would be the first visit to the grave for Duchess Meghan. It's unclear, however, if the Sussex couple will be bringing Archie to the gravesite.

Princess Diana was laid rest at her childhood estate in Northampton. The Althorp House has been publicly opened for those who want to remember the princess as well.

According to Access Hollywood, Prince Harry and his brother Prince William have a yearly tradition of honoring their late mother. It's expected that two men will be getting together this weekend at Kensington Palace for either lunch or dinner to remember her, just like how it was in the previous years.

"They [usually] talk about the little things about Diana that made them laugh: the ski trips and outings to Thorpe Park; the effort she went to on their birthdays - all of it," a source revealed. "Their other halves and kids join them later."
