Warning: This article may contain spoilers for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 10.
In less than a month, NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 will finally premiere. And along with the continuation of the plot, where the previous season ended, the upcoming premiere might just feature Mac and Harm's love story.
The NCIS' franchise parent series, JAG, has become one of the most popular procedural drama series in recent times. While NCIS has become very successful, along with all of its spin-offs, the branched out franchise seems to still include its parent series stars.
The likes of Harm, who has been a very significant character in the world of JAG, played a huge role during the last few moments of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 10. He was tasked to work with Callen and Sam. And it led to the major discovery of other JAG stars like Mac, who happened to be Harm's love interest almost a decade ago.
The inclusion of JAG stars is a huge milestone for the show. In fact, a lot of fans have hoped for this dynamic to continue up to the future installments. So when the trailer for NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 premiere dropped on CBS, many fans have rejoiced upon learning that Mac and Harm will return.
As per Entertainment Tonight, the new season opener will carry the title, Let Fate Decide. And as seen on the trailer, Sam and Callen will continue to work with Harm to "apprehend" spies.
In the middle of it all, Mac was seen to "reconnect" with Harm via video call as he claimed that she looked great. Mac responded to him saying that he has never changed.
It has been revealed that they have not seen each other for nine years now. And their love story has been put to stop shortly after deciding to go with it.
Their virtual reunion has been the first-ever instance that they've talked to each other after the incident. And this might just be further expanded in the upcoming episodes of Season 11.
It is not actually impossible if the show proceeds with this kind of setting. As it happens, many fans would love to witness the possible future of the former couple. So, there is a huge chance that the show would go to this path in the coming months.
Pop Culture also reiterated how the trailer teased the fans with the apparent JAG reunion. Nevertheless, the main stars of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 were also emphasized.
While Harm works with Callen and Sam, Hetty "partners" with Mac to stop a missile attack in the Middle East. As for Deeks and Kensi, the newly wedded couple is trapped in Iraq under a CIA unit as ISIS attacks the exact location.
With these events and circumstances, the premiere will definitely be explosive. But fans may need to wait a little more since NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 is yet to air on September 29, on CBS.
