Nikki Bella confessed she still cries over her failed relationship with John Cena. The ex-couple broke up last year just weeks before their wedding and the 35-year-old retired professional wrestler said she has been working on herself following the spit, but still reportedly shed tears sometimes over her former beau.

Bella opened up her failed relationship with Cena on her latest episode of The Bellas Podcast. The retired WWE star said that as for how you get over a breakup, you need to truly love yourself and dedicate something to yourself that would make you better. But then, she also added that you need to let yourself cry.

"That's one thing my life coach helped me a lot with, because I still, you guys, get days when I cry about my breakup," Bella said. She also noted that they've been together for a long time and had an amazing relationship and bond. The former couple also had a lot of love for each other, and she confessed that she misses her ex from time to time.

But, Bella admitted that whenever she needs to cry, she let herself cry because "crying is healing." She then revealed that when her tears come, she doesn't try to hold them, but will find a quiet place to cry and also to meditate. She also understands why she's feeling confused over her split with Cena, especially since they're still close.

Bella confessed that the reason why they're relationship probably failed is that she felt the "timing was off" for them to get married. She realized that she wants someone whom she can be with every night, spending holidays, growing old together, and someone who wants to be a parent. She then shared the more she gets closer to her wedding day with Cena, the more she felt "off."

She has since reportedly trying to move on from the failed relationship and found a "soulmate" connection to her new boyfriend, Artem Chigvintsev. The couple didn't immediately confirm their relationship, but Bella eventually revealed her new love on her podcast.

And while Bella gets candid about anything concerning her past relationship with Cena, she also said she couldn't get into much detail since they reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement. Cena reportedly wanted to keep their past private, something that she thinks it's "amazing" and she "respect" him with his decisions.

The ex-couple has been together for six years, but Bella called off their upcoming wedding in April 2018.
