Fans are now waiting for the coming of Ozark Season 3 after the success of its first two seasons. With the different kind of tension the show brings, viewers are now looking forward to see what will happen to the life of the planner-turned-drug money launderer Martin "Marty" Byrde (Jason Bateman).

When Bateman shared the news about the show's renewal on Twitter last year, he said he is happy but concerned for Marty at the same time. To recall, the show follows the story of Marty, who secretly relocates his family to Missouri Ozarks after a money laundering scheme turns wrong that he has to pay off the debt to a Mexican drug lord.

According to the Digital Wise, the show's production already started in May, so the new season will likely come out later this year. Of course, Bateman will return as the lead star Marty, along with his on-screen wife, Wendy, played by Laura Linney. Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gaertner will also make a comeback as Marty and Wendy's children, Charlotte and Jonah.

Familiar faces, like Janet McTeer as Helen Pierce, the Chicago-based attorney that has links to the Cartel, and Lisa Emery as Darlene Snell, Jacob's (Peter Mullan) wife from Season 2 will also make a return to Ozark Season 3. There will also be new faces coming to the new season, such as Tom Pelphrey as Ben Davis, Wendy's younger brother, and Jessica Francis Dukes as Maya Miller, an FBI agent who frequently visits the casino in hopes to catch Marty.

Aside from being the lead actor, Bateman also plays the role of the show's executive producer and has directed some episodes. Fans can expect to see a lot of twists coming in the new season as the previous seasons managed to keep all fans hooked with its different plotline and a stellar cast.

Meanwhile, in an interview with the writer Chris Munday, via the Digital Weekly, he said the new season would introduce Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner), a 19-year-old woman who is a part of the local criminal family that is trying to get closer to the Byrde clan. Marty will also face more troubles come new season as he is about to open a colossal casino boat that he will use to launder more money from the carte and further establish Byrde Enterprises. Ozark Season 3 reportedly has 10 episodes and will be out later this year or in early 2020 on Netflix.
