Is Miranda Lambert's marriage to NYPD cop Brendan McLoughlin in trouble after just several months? Entertainment sites seem to think so as rumors are speculating that Miranda wants to have a baby in order to rekindle the romance in their marriage.

According to a report by National Enquirer, the country singer came back from a recent vacation with ber beau looking heavier than usual and this could be due to a preganancy. The outfit claimed that not all is well in Miranda and Brendan's relationship and that she thinks that a pregnancy will solve their marital issues.

The magazine cited a source in their report that said that Miranda has been wanting to get pregnant for a while, with rumors swirling that her husband is still hanging out with girls from New York.

Brendan, who married Miranda in a surprise wedding in February is younger by eight years than his country star wife and has been part of the Staten Island Police Department when the pair met during the Pistol Annies' performance in Good Morning, America.

Gossip Cop has called out the report for farfetched premise, seeing as Miranda Lambert is currently on her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour until November. The entertainment site said that if Miranda was truly pregnant, she would have to be six months pregnant by the time the tour ends in two months' time.

It also cited Miranda and Brendan's recent uploads on social media showing the couple's happiness as they celebrated her parents' anniversary in Texas. The parents seem to approve of their new son in law since both Miranda's parents have backgrounds in law enforcement. Her dad was a homicide and narcotics cop in Dallas before he opened his own detective agency with his wife Bev.

Rumors of marital troubles also seem to ring hollow when Miranda herself can't keep herself from gushing about her beau on stage during an Atlanta concert, reported Us Magazine.

"I love country music, I live and breathe it. Something about country music is usually a sad song. You gotta have them, sometimes the sad song gets you through a sad time, isn't that right? Lucky for me, I'm not in a sad time anymore in my life. Thank you to my sweet husband from Staten Island, by the way!" she said, referring to her happiness with her new hubby.
