By now we are all well aware of the success of Pokemon GO with its million-strong player base. With the start of September, the Research Tasks have updated with brand-new missions for trainers and new Pokemon to catch.

Users on The Silph Road and its Subreddit have already begun to chronicle all of the Research Tasks and their rewards. You can find the current list of all the Research Tasks for September 2019 here. The list will continue to be updated as Research Tasks change.

As for the highlights, a new Pokemon is added to the roster: the Elektrike line. Pattern #3 Spinda has also returned. Eletrike and its evolved form, Manectric, can now be caught in its Shiny forms. To commemorate this debut, Electrike is now available as an encounter reward for completing the "Battle Another Trainer" task.

Eevee with the Flower Crown is now included in the Research Breakthrough, which can also be caught in its Shiny form. What's exciting is that even when this Eevee is evolved, it gets to keep the Flower Crown.

Pokemon Go has released to a colossal wave of initial hype, but a lot of people quickly lost interest due to the lack of updates and regular content. Niantic has tried its best to pacify all the complaints, but three years on and the developer is still giving trainers something to complain about.

Granted, nothing is perfect, but Niantic has caused upset among its players in the latest update. The frustration this time around comes as a result of a returning event from earlier this year.

As mentioned, Flower Crown Eevee will be available through Special Research Breakthrough quests. While there's been some outcry over the fact that this version of Eevee is quite hard to catch, the majority of complaints stem from the fact that the event has replaced existing Field Research rewards.

Before, players have the chance of encountering Legendary Pokemon like Kyogre and Groudon if they complete Field Research goals for seven days on the trot. Now, however, those catches will be inaccessible for the next two months, due to Flower Crown Eevee's arrival.

Numerous players have also reported that they can no longer find wild Eevee, promoting the lot to suspect that Niantic has pulled them from circulation.

Niantic is yet to address the disappearance of wild Eevee, so for now, all we can do is wait. Have you seen Eevee since the Flower Crown event went live?
