Elite Season 2 will soon hit the small screens as Netflix now drops a new trailer that will make everyone think of what is about to happen. The teaser hints the major twists and turns that will surround Marina's (María Pedraza) mysterious murder and the life of the rest of the cast members as they all return this September.

The hype surrounding the Spanish teen soap continues after Netflix unveils the show's first full trailer. "Secrets don't stay secrets for very long, do they?" the puzzling statement left on the viewers' mind.

In the clip, Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) can be seen promising to find a way to prove his brother's, Nano (Jaime Lorente) innocence after the latter's pregnant girlfriend, Marina, get mysteriously murdered. Although his return is said to be unwise, he vowed to do everything, whatever the cost may be, per Entertainment Weekly.

In other Elite Season 2 events, the real killer, Polo (álvaro Rico), and his girl, Carla (Ester Expósito), will try to act like their usual selves as they make sure that no one will find out the truth about what they have done. They will try to hide everything from Samuel and the it-boy himself, Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau), who doesn't know that his best friend, Polo, is the one who killed his rebellious sister, Marina.

It remains to be seen if these secrets will be out in the coming new season or will stay unrevealed for a long while. The new school term only means there will be new mysteries surrounding everyone in this new season.

However, Variety reported there would be greater depths and ambition on the second installment, as teased by its first two episodes and the Madrid conference, where cast and creators dropped major hints. First details of the new season came out after Netflix renewed the show for a third season ahead of Season 2's release. Director of originals in Spain Diego Avalos announced the good news at the said presentation.

Elite Season 2 will follow and "tried and tested" flash-forward format. To recall, Season 1 featured murder while Season 2 would reveal someone goes missing. As time runs, the hopes to see them alive will continuously drop by the end of Episode 2.

Aside from a big mystery, there will be a sharp turn of events as more lies will be revealed. It will also explore the will-they-won't-they relationships of Guzmán and Nadia (Mina El Hammani) and the secret lovers Omar (Omar Ayuso) and Ander (Arón Piper). Elite Season 2 is set to be out on Friday, Sept. 6, on Netflix.
