Shameless season 10 is still a couple of months away, and amid the drama in the series, there are still some sweet moments when the new season arrives. Lip Gallagher, in particular, welcomes his baby into the world. So, will things be different for him now that he has a child?
In season 9 finale, viewers witnesses Lip and Tami expecting a baby together - though it wasn't clear if the latter wanted to keep it, now, it seems like that was answered in the recently released promo of Shameless season 10. Lip is carrying his baby on his arm, and the happiness on his eyes is very apparent.
Things wouldn't be easy as the child might grow up in some difficult circumstances, especially since Frank Gallagher is around - he doesn't have a great history in raising children. And while he isn't responsible for raising Lip's child, Frank could still inject thoughts that would make people question the baby.
Frank couldn't keep himself quiet since at the end of the promo, he's the first one who has a say about the baby wherein he asked if Lip is sure that the child is his. Of course, we're talking about Frank Gallagher here - it seems like he has no intention to change. But if ever he's willing to do that, the change isn't what everyone expected.
Shameless season 10 is also an interesting one, especially since this is the first time of the series without Emily Rossum's character. Fiona Gallagher's absence will be felt throughout the season, but there are still other characters who have some great stories to tell.
For instance, Cameron Monaghan's full-time return in Shameless season 10. Viewers will be going to see a full story of his character Ian Gallagher and Mickey Milkovich, as Noel Fisher's character return in the upcoming installment with a significant role as well.
And now that Fiona is gone, her responsibilities will be thrown to other people. Debbie Gallagher will take Fiona's place in the family, and it looks like she's strict to the Gallaghers, especially when it comes to their allowance. She gives them an ATM card with a certain amount of cash on it.
So, they could either maintain the balance of the card or just suffer without any money on their hand. Debbie's way is ruthless, but she doesn't have any choice but to do this sort of strategy. She realized that nothing is working, and this is a desperate time, thus needing somewhat-desperate measures.
Shameless season 10 will premiere on Thursday, November 7, on Showtime.
