A recent article from Life and Style Magazine sparked rumors that Angelina Jolie has been causing problems in the marriage of Thor star Chris Hemsworth. Based on the report, Chris' wife, Elsa Pataky, is becoming jealous of Angelina after the Salt actress spent time with Chris at the Marvel panel of Comic-Con 2019.
An alleged source said that there was an instant connection between the two stars as they were presented to the media to talk about the next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While Chris Hemsworth will return to the franchise for a fourth installment of the Thor movies, Angelina Jolie has been confirmed to join the cast of the Eternals, and will play the role of Thena.
The outfit claimed that Pataky has been uncomfortable with idea of her husband working with the Maleficent star given the actress' history with Brad Pitt. Another article, meanwhile, reported that Angelina was nursing on a crush on Chris because he looked like a younger version of her ex-husband.
Gossip Cop has since debunked the rumors, citing that these reports are unfounded. The site even cited their own source, who claimed that they are nonsense.
This was, actually, not the first time that the two A-listers were linked romantically and Chris Hemsworth personally addressed the rumors during his previous guesting at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, wherein the host confronted him about sitting next to Angelina Jolie at the Golden Globe Awards, New Idea reported.
It can be recalled that the seating arrangements sparked rumors that the two are enjoying each other's company since Chris' wife was nowhere in sight. Ellen gave the Thor star a chance to address the rumors after the issue was blown out of proportion by several media outfits. As it turned out, there was actually a third person sitting in the table that was conveniently left out of the reports.
"See, you've done what the internet has done, which is you've cropped out my real 'date.' And, look, Angelina is incredible and wonderful. I'm a fan, my wife's a fan, but she may be more threatened by that guy!" Chris Hemsworth said, referring to the full photo that showed him sitting in between Angelina Jolie and Thor director Taika Waititi.
