There will be new faces joining Yellowstone Season 3. Aside from the coming of the Lost star Josh Holloway, Eden Brolin will also join the show as a barrel racer that will add up some color to the Yellowstone ranch.
According to Deadline, Brolin will play the role of Mia in the third installment of the modern-day western series. She is described as a "barrel racer at the rode who becomes friendly with the bunkhouse guys."
By the looks of it, Yellowstone is a dangerous place for Mia, although it has the best of characters. The new season feels to be a very personal one for some of the roles coming up. After the previous season had been "big, bloody, and dramatic," according to CarterMatt, the third installment might scale back a little and put attention on some of the relationships.
When Season 2 ended, Paramount Network left fans with a quick behind-the-scenes look at the production of Yellowstone Season 3. The network only made fans eager to see the next installment; wishing time could fast forward a year, per Pop Culture.
The clip showed most of the show's primary cast giving their comments about the intense turn of events of Season 2. They also offered a promising moment of calm and peace happening in Season 3.
Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton, revealed Season 2 was so intense, violent, and hard on some characters that he believed Season would be kind to heal them a little bit. Kevin Costner, who plays the titular role, John Dutton, admitted they have been all bruised, but his character managed to alter his behavior.
Also, Kelsey Asbille (Monica Dutton) said they begin the show with healing, peace, and more unified. Cole Hauser also teased her role, Rip Wheeler, and Beth Dutton's (Kelly Reilly) relationship would be explored further after they became closer at the end of the second season.
Reilly also talked about Holloway's coming to Yellowstone Season 3, saying he's like a breath of fresh air in the series. The 50-year-old star will play the role of Roarke Carter, and Grimes is already worried for his future. "He seems like he's going to hit on Beth, and I don't think that's a great idea as we know," Grimes revealed. Paramount Network has yet to disclose when Yellowstone Season 3 will be out, but it is expected to be released in 2020.
