God Friended Me season 2 will premiere later this month and the first images of the upcoming installment have been released, showing Cara's time in Paris. The photos released by CBS teased fans on what to expect on the new season, but the location is one of the highlights of the first photos.

The first images of God Friended Me season 2 featured Violett Beane's character, confirming that she's still in Paris when the new season arrives. She decided to go there in the previous season to work on writing a book about Simon Hayes and company. Now, in the photos, Cara is working right in front of the Eiffel Tower, while the other one featured her and Simon (Adam Goldberg) talking about something.

Working in Paris is perhaps once-in-a-lifetime experience for Cara, and she's talking to Simon probably because he's helping her reconnect with an important person from her past. This is a personal storyline for Cara, especially since she's trying to find herself in Paris. However, what does this mean for her relationship with Miles (Brandon Micheal Hall)?

They do care about each other, but will their time apart change them and what they feel? That could be possible, yet there's something about their personalities that always find a way to be back towards each other. They also have a mutual interest in working on the God Account, and it's very likely they still have the same goal entering the new season.

As for what other things to expect in God Friended Me season 2, Miles will try to help the new friend of the God Account, Joy (Jessica Lu). This woman receives her first friend suggestion since getting Miles' name, so they need to find out what the account wants from Joy.

Joy is the woman in the season 1 finale who claimed she knew about the God Account. Since she's got Miles name from it, it raises questions whether or not Joy and Miles have some sort of connection that the latter doesn't know about.

Rakesh (Suraj Sharma), on the other hand, settles into his new role as head of Research & Development at IdentitySeal, while Trish (Erica Gimpel) becomes concerned when Arthur (Joe Morton) is reluctant buying a new home with his fiancée and sell the house where he raised his family.

Meanwhile, some viewers are wondering if they could get an answer about the God Account when the new season premieres. That's unlikely for now since the series is just starting its new season, but as the story continues, they will possibly get some answers to their questions.

God Friended Me season 2 will premiere on Sunday, September 29, on CBS.
