After #StarStrongRose trended worldwide to hit YG Entertainment for its alleged unfair treatment of BLACKPINK member Rose, the singer broke her silence and announced that she has been preparing for her solo debut.

Rose took to livestream to address fans' concerns about YG's unfair treatment, which came after her recent post. BLINKs interpreted the cryptic post as her reaction to other BLACKPINK members having multiple solo activities except for her. Even her father liked a post by one of the fans that spoke up against the agency for mistreating Rose and ignoring her talent, reported KPopStarz.

"And I know that a lot of you guys are very, very curious about how much I have prepared with my solo...and I'm so happy that you guys are like that. I'm working on it all the time," Rose said on her post. The BLACKPINK member officially confirmed that she had been diligently preparing for her solo debut and this means that she is focusing on delivering perfection in all aspects of her new single.

Rose further explained that she has been very focused on her solo debut and asked fans to be understanding about the long period it is taking to release her song and MV.

"And know that when I become silent or when you guys can't see me, you also know that those are like some times that I'm working on things for you guys. I know that it's frustrating when I don't update you about my life," Rose said.

Fans seemed appeased by the news and expressed excitement over Rose's project and said she deserved the attention that she is getting from YG because of her vocal skills.

It can be recalled that former YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk announced last year that Rose would be the next member to get a solo project after Jennie, but it took a while for the plan to materialize, All Kpop reported. Because there was not much information or update about the project, fans have also raised criticism against the agency for shelving Rose while Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa were bombarded with acting jobs, magazine shoots and endorsement deals.

However, it seems that releasing a solo single does take a lot of time and effort as Jennie's Solo reportedly took a year to prepare before its release. Making the project even more challenging is the fact that Rose is working on the album in between the series of concerts and appearances that BLACKPINK is scheduled to do until early next year.
