Paul Pogba's brother, Mathias, has revealed that the Manchester United Star knows that he has no choice but to stay at Old Trafford in spite of reports linking him to Real Madrid.

The older Pogba recently spoke to Spanish television channel El Chiringuito wherein he revealed his brother's thoughts regarding his future. According to the defender, Paul "knows he can't leave," so he'll have to focus on United this season due to the lack of "great players."

The Metro also add that the Frenchman was keen on a move to the Spanish capital, but Real Madrid refused to meet United's £150m asking price for his services.

Now that the younger Pogba will have to stay at Manchester, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may be forced to deal with these rumors. These won't likely stop for the duration of Pogba's career at United, especially since the Frenchman has reportedly rejected a new deal with the club.

Mathias' conversation with the Spanish news mostly involved Paul's responsibility with United, saying he will focus on this season since a lot of players have exited the club.

"The only great player is [David] De Gea, the goalkeeper, which means he's going to have to put a lot of effort in every game," Mathias said.

Paul has played for Man Utd for three seasons, but speculations continue to haunt the star ever since he resigned with United.

Last month, Mathias also said in an interview that Paul would benefit greatly if his move to Real Madrid will push through and that working with manager Zinedine Zidane would do him good. Mathias, who plays for Manchego, told AS in an interview that Paul will keep his professionalism with the club and that he is "very well." "Everyone knows that my brother could use Real Madrid and Zidane. Those who have to talk are Madrid and Manchester United," Mathias said.

Paul has revealed that he has been wanting to leave United for a "new challenge," but despite being one of Zidan'es target players, Real Madrid were unwilling to meet the 26-year-old's £150 million asking price.
