Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and their baby Archie Harrison are leaving for South Africa for a 10-day visit this September. Reports reveal that the couple hopes to have their son included in some of the public programs set for their official visit.

Buckingham Palace released the Sussex royals' itinerary for this trip, which will be from Sept. 23 to Oct. 2, 2019. Prince Harry, however, will leave his wife and child for a few days to also travel to Angola, Botswana, and Malawi.

While in Angola, Prince Harry will reportedly be checking out the land mine clearing that his mother, Princess Diana, also visited and staunchly advocated to be removed while she was alive. Duchess Meghan, on the other hand, will be touching base with different organizations that promote women's health, education, entrepreneurship, and leadership.

Archie will be with his mother's entourage the whole time, and a nanny will also be taking care of the baby if the duchess is in meetings. It's not certain, however, if the young royal will be seen in public. However, a royal source stated that the Sussex couple hopes there will be some occasions where Archie can be present.

"They hope to include Archie at some point in the program," the source said. "It's just difficult to schedule because he's five months old."

This is the very first official visit for the Sussex royals as a family. This is a chance for Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan to personally look into the causes that the royal family has been involved in for years.

Meanwhile, because of the preparations for their official visit to South Africa, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have turned down the invitation to visit Queen Elizabeth in Balmoral, per People. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are also adjusting to their lives as new parents. So, they have their plate full for the summer that a trip to the Queen's summer house was not possible.

In the next few days, Duchess Meghan will be off her maternity leave as she officially returns to her royal duties by launching her charity clothing line Smart Works. Prince Harry, on the other hand, has been working hard to promote his new initiative on eco-friendly tourism.

Prince Harry even joked during a trip to Amsterdam last week that the travels for work are the only times that he could catch a decent sleep. He alluded that it's challenging to get a good night's rest with a baby in the house.
