Recent rumors claimed Miley Cyrus would be joining Kaitlynn Carter in The Hills: New Beginnings. But then, this story has been debunked and proved to be not true at all.

Star magazine reported Cyrus and her rumored girlfriend Carter will be taking their "romance" in the small screen. According to the alleged source of the outlet, the singer is planning to join the reality star on the MTV show so they can allegedly televise their "budding romance."

"Miley has agreed to appear on The Hills with Kaitlynn next season," the unnamed insider said, and added the singer "loves stirring the pot," that's why she's all in.

Allegedly, Carter also assured the producers of the show that she would be open about why her marriage with Brody Jenner ended, as well as her "new relationship" with Cyrus. Then, the source further insisted the singer is eager to show off her reality star, and they allegedly love the attention they're getting now.

This report, however, is not true at all and Gossip Cop debunked the claim. The outlet spoke to Cyrus' rep and said the singer is "absolutely not" joining The Hills: New Beginnings. Social media accounts of Cyrus don't have any single trace of her alleged relationship with Carter, and the latter only posted a few photos of them from the beginning of August.

Gossip Cop also noted if Cyrus wanted to "show off" her new romance, then she would've posted more about Carter. It's also worth mentioning Star magazine claimed the singer was hooking up with the reality star even when she and Liam Hemsworth were still together. But she already cleared this issue last month via Instagram, where she pointed out their marriage didn't end because of cheating.

Additionally, this isn't the first time Star magazine published a false narrative following Cyrus and Hemsworth's divorce. Gossip Cop busted the tabloid last month for claiming the actor was dating Isabel Lucas -- who dated her brother Chris Hemsworth from 2005 to 2008 -- after his split with the singer. In reality, the two weren't really in a relationship.

And earlier this year, the same tabloid wrongly reported the former couple only tied the knot for "tax purposes" after their Malibu home burned down. The outlet has little to zero insight about what happened to Cryus and Hemsworth's marriage. With the latest claim about Cyrus joining Carter on The Hills: New Beginning, Gossip Cop confirmed the singer wouldn't be appearing on the MTV show.
