Jennifer Aniston's comment about Angelina Jolie's 2007 remark has been brought back into the limelight amidst the news about Brad Pitt and Jolie lately as well as the Friends actress comment about moving out of their production company, Bloc Production.

Aniston and Pitt broke up in 2005 after almost five years of marriage. In January 2006, Jolie admitted her relationship with Pitt and revealed that she was pregnant with the actor's child. Jolie and Pitt stated that they "fell in love" on the set of their 2005 movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Then in 2007, Jolie revealed that when she first met Pitt, she understood that the actor was "with his best friend, someone he loves and respects." But she also added how she started to feel excited to go to work on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith because she was already starting to have feelings with her co-star.

The following year after Jolie's interview, Aniston shared her views about Jolie's remark and called it "uncool." At the time, Aniston said it was inappropriate for the Lara Croft actress to publicly reveal her excitement to see Pitt on the set of their movie while she knew that Pitt was a married man then.

"I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool," Aniston told Vogue.

Now, Aniston has already moved forward with her life but still remembers some bits of pieces of what follows after her split with Pitt. She recently revealed the one symbolic move that she did in 2005 that sealed her split with the actor.

In a new interview with the New York Times for her upcoming TV series, The Morning Show, Aniston talked about the sexism in the industry. She and her friend Kristin Hahn also looked back at the time when they, along with Pitt, started the Bloc Productions.

Hahn then revealed that she and Aniston left the company when the couple split in 2015. The two went on to form their own company, Echo Films.

"It was the symbolic equivalent of, 'I'll move out of the house,'" Hahn explained.

Echo Films has produced Aniston's movies such as The Switch, Cake, and Dumplin. It is also involved in the actress' The Morning Show with Reese Witherspoon. The series is set to premiere on November 1 on Apple TV.

In the series, Aniston plays the role of Alex Levy, who runs a popular news program, titled The Morning Show. The show has excellent TV ratings and is perceived to have changed the face of American television.

After her partner of 15 years, Mitch Kessler, gets fired because of sexual misconduct scandal, Alex fights to keep her job as top newsreader while sparking a rivalry with aspiring journalist Bradley Jackson, who seeks to take her place.
