NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 is about to drop in the next few weeks. And fans are getting more hyped with the new season as new things are revealed about the show.
The previous installment featured a huge surprising turn of events when JAG stars entered the picture. As it happened, series flagship characters, Harm and Mac, joined the cast of the spin-off. So when it was revealed that these characters’ arc would move forward in the next season, it made a lot of fans even more excited to witness the upcoming installments.
According to TV Line, the premiere of NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 will dive deeper in Harm and Mac’s relationship. The fans will get to know more what happened between the two and the possibility of getting back together. While it is not mentioned if they will join the cast as recurring characters, their appearance on the premiere is already enough “treat” for the show’s return.
Aside from the JAG characters, the new season will also welcome new faces in the likes of Vinnie Jones and Steve Valentines. It has been revealed that the actors will play guest roles that will allow NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 to move further in its apparent course. Although it is not unveiled as to how they will make an impact on the show, the fans are already looking forward to their characters’ arrival.
Per Cinema Blend, these revelations first came into the light when Daniela Ruah, who plays the role of Kensi, posted a set of behind-the-scene photos on her social media account. In it, a short video featured the Arrow star, Vinnie Jones, “cursing” her to stay away. But of course, this only made the actress laugh since it is quite a convincing act on his part.
As for Steve Valentine’s guest role, the speculations started when he posted an episode script on his social media account indicating that he’s all prepared for his character on NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 considering that the material is indeed “used.”
But while new faces will be featured on the next season, a familiar face will be out of the picture for a brief moment. As per reports, Barrett Foa’s Eric will be sent away by Linda Hunt’s Hetty since the actor will have to accomplish other projects outside the show. It has been revealed that he will be absent from the show for about five to six episodes.
Another new thing that will happen in the next season is unveiled to center on Sam and Callen’s characters. According to some headlines, the personal lives of the characters will be in the spotlight, especially their relationships outside work.
For now, these updates will have to do. But since the premiere is fast approaching, then the fans will surely get to know the whole stories behind. NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 will premiere on September 29, on CBS.
