Fans are seemingly excited for Blue Bloods Season 10. But aside from having to witness what will happen in the next season, another huge reason behind is that the fandom is expecting to see the actual ceremony of Jamie and Eddie’s wedding.

In the previous season finale, Jamie and Eddie finally sealed the deal and tied the knot. However, as Eddie walked down the aisle and Jamie all teary-eyed looking at her future bride all glowed up, the screen turned black and the season concluded.

This is not the wedding that the fandom expected to happen between Jamie and Eddie. Considering how the characters were built up in the previous seasons, many are convinced that the episode should have shared a lot more. And because of this, the majority of the fans got disappointed.

Accordingly, it is only understandable why most of the viewers are expecting for the new season to feature, even just a few parts of the ceremony. However, it has been already revealed that the premiere of Blue Bloods Season 10 will already pick up a few weeks after the event. And while flashbacks are possible, the new season is emphasized to move forward with the new plot.

According to TV Insider, the upcoming installment will move to feature Jamie and Eddie’s search for a new apartment. Therefore, the honeymoon and any wedding-related celebrations will no longer play a part in the following episodes.

With these revelations at hand, it even caused more fans to get upset and dismay over the decisions made toward the characters. But thanks to one of the show’s stars, Abigail Hawk, who plays the role of Abigail Baker, she explained the whole controversy and why the fans should look past the issue.

In an interview with Pop Culture, the actress emphasized how everyone understood the fans’ uproar. But even so, she reiterated how their negative reactions could negatively impact the specially built-up relationship between Eddie and Jamie.

Abigail Hawk also reiterated that it is very difficult to “please” everyone. She contended that even when they show the whole ceremony to on screens, the fans will still ask for more like the honeymoon phase and the marital bliss after. Not to mention, she highly emphasized that Blue Bloods is a cop show. So, this aspect should not be overlooked.

But all in all, she revealed that the finale is a very special episode for everyone. And all of the cast members were very happy the way it turned out both on and off screens. So, she charges the fans to stop worrying about it and continue to enjoy the more exciting episodes that Blue Bloods Season 10 will offer starting in the next few weeks.

Blue Bloods Season 10 will still have its usual time slot. The new season will start to drop new episodes on September 27, on CBS.
