A lot of people have been following the Duggar family on social media in hopes to learn a new thing about Counting On Season 10. As there is no update about the new season, viewers have been following the lives of the artists instead. Two of the most-followed family members are Joy-Anna and Jessa Duggar, but with a lot of followers also come bashers.
When Joy-Anna shared a photo of her 19-month-old son, Gideon, while seemed to be drinking coffee, the internet trolls quickly reacted to the snap. These trolls began mommy-shaming the 21-year-old star for allowing her kid to consume a caffeinated drink.
However, Joy-Anna made it clear that Gideon was not drinking the iced coffee, joking her son didn't need caffeine to be active. "A little coffee to get him through the day," she captioned the snap. "Or maybe not... he already has more energy than I can keep up with #nocoffeeforhim #somuchenergy #GideonMartynForsyth."
Despite Joy-Anna's clarification, people immediately started commenting about how she should never give coffee to her only 1-year-old baby. It even started a debate about which cultures around the world allowed children to have coffee. Will this scene be chronicled in Counting On Season 10?
As expected, Joy-Anna's fans came to her defense. They even pointed out she already noted in her caption that Gideon wasn't drinking coffee because he was already energetic. Some also suggested it was decaf, while others claimed the kid only stole his mother's drink and she only took a quick snap of it.
Meanwhile, Jessa, on the other hand, clapped back at a fan who questioned the way she lives after she posted a photo of her husband, Ben Seewald, with a well-groomed mustache. "When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one person to dissolve the beard- keep the 'stache, at least for a day or two," she captioned the snap.
While others saw her post as funny, some had negative responses for it. "What exactly do u do for a job?" a top comment read. As Jessa is known for responding to internet trolls, she had the perfect answer to this question, and fans hope to see this in Counting On Season 10.
"I'm currently caring for 3 kids 3 and under. 24/7, 365. Still gotta work on sick days, and vacations too for that matter. It's hard work, but so rewarding," she said. "Honestly though, I feel so blessed to be able to stay at home with them! I know not every mother has that opportunity."
By the looks of it, the negative response didn't affect Jessa in any way. She has, subtlety, shaded the question and managed to redeem herself. It remains to be seen if these things happening on the Duggar family's lives are going to be seen in Counting On Season 10. So, fans have to wait and see for TLC's future announcement about it.
