The Good Doctor Season 3 is yet to be out, but its second episode's synopsis is now revealed. Based on the episode title, there may be more emotional and personal stories that will happen, involving mostly Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore). Shaun will do everything to be the best person and boyfriend that he can be. But, will it reciprocate?
"As Dr. Marcus Andrews (Hill Harper) vows to help a good Samaritan who was injured while stopping a sexual assault, Dr. Audrey Lim (Christina Chang) faces a difficult decision when a young patient's parents suspect that Dr. Neil Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) made a mistake," "Debts" official synopsis read. "Meanwhile, Dr. Shaun Murphy fields advice following his disastrous date with Dr. Carly Lever (Jasika Nicole); and Dr. Claire Browne (Antonia Thomas) gets a surprise visit from her mother."
The show is only about to premiere. So, it may still be too early to tell if Shaun and Carly will be a thing. So far, their first date did not go well. So, he may try his best and be the best guy for her. CaterMatt also noted Shaun might deal with whatever aftermath there will be in The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 2. He may also ask some advice to those people who are close to him if he ever has the chance to fix the problems he created.
In the new season's trailer, Shaun will be navigating his first romantic relationship. It features more scenes of Shaun and Carly's date and a sequence where they almost kiss. "I know this dating thing can be scary," Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) advised Shaun. "But don't give up on love. It's wonderful."
However, it looks like Carly is not keen on getting advice from Shaun's friends and coworkers. At one point, she even confronts Claire for allegedly interfering her love life.
Elsewhere, The Good Doctor Season 3 Episode 2's patient-of-the-week story may involve Audrey and Neil. The two are known for having a romantic history, but their dynamic may likely change since they are now together.
