Mad Men star Jon Hamm and Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus are back in dating rumors. This is after they were spotted together and, apparently, engaged in some PDA while watching the opening night of a Broadway show.
Hamm and Ben Affleck's ex-girlfriend were seen watching together Broadway's new mentalist act, Derren Brown: Secret. People cited a source as saying that the two are having a great time together that onlookers feel like they are on a date.
"They sat together on the aisle and looked like they were having a great time. Both raved about the show at intermission, too," the source said.
"It very much felt like they were on a date. When they were talking to one another, they locked eyes and were smiling the whole time," the insider added.
After the show ended, the two reportedly spent a little more time together inside before leaving separately. Hamm headed to the show's reception at the nearby at Times Square Edition.
However, another source close to Shookus told the publication that the SNL producer and the 48-year-old actor are just friends and they have been for more than a decade. Another outlet, Gossip Cop, reported that it reached out to Hamm's spokesperson who denied the rumor and said that the actor and Shookus are just friends.
This is not the first time Hamm and Shookus were rumored to be dating. They were first put on spotlight together when they were spotted at a Kanye West concert at Madison Square Garden in September 2016. Hamm's rep shut down the rumors.
Hamm and Shookus two have worked together on SNL. The Baby Driver actor hosted the show three times and has appeared as a guest for six times.
Hamm dated actress Jennifer Westfeldt from 1997 to 2015. Shookus, on the other hand, dated Affleck in July 2017. The couple, however, split in August 2018 before the Justice League actor started rehab. They rekindled their romance in February but broke up again in April.
Shookus was previously married to TV producer Kevin Miller from 2010 to 2014. They share a daughter.
Hamm has done several movies this year. He will be seen next in the upcoming sci-fi drama Lucy in the Sky along with Natalie Portman. The movie is scheduled for release next month.
He also plays a major role in The Report, a critically-acclaimed docudrama film written and directed by Bourne Ultimatum screenwriter Scott Z. Burns. The movie had a world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and is set to kick off in cinemas on November 15.
