Many months have already passed since Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 21 teased its upcoming guest stars. And, per the reports, the first two episodes will welcome some of today's prominent celebrities including, especially Ian McShane and Ariel Winter.

Ian McShane, who played roles on HBO's Game of Thrones and Deadwood, is about to make an entrance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 21 as the premiere's antagonist.

The premiere episode titled, I'm Going To Make You A Star, reveals that an actress will accuse a powerful personality of attempted rape. This personality is widely assumed to be Ian McShane's role. Along with McShane, the premiere will also feature Peter Gallagher, Jamie Gray Hyder, and Zuleikha Robinson as guest stars.

As for the youngest Dunphy in ABC's Modern Family, Ariel Winter, she will enter the show in its second episode. Per Pop Culture, she is revealed to play a character who has forgotten the details of her rape due to the influence of alcohol.

The episode is titled, The Darkest Journey Home, which is hinted to be related to the premise of the episode since she joined a "ride & share" ride home when the crime happened. Amy Hargreaves will also play a guest star role in this installment.

These first two episodes are a great catch to the new season of the series. Not to mention, these cases are too sensitive as they reflect some of today's real-life sexual crimes that are difficult to resolve and dismissed.

As per TV Line, the premise of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 21 will shift to a new perspective of solving sexual-related crimes. And its main character, Benson, will try new ways and "techniques" to approach the cases.

This is going to be further elaborated in Ariel Winter's character's case as the team will try to find out what happened that night. Rollins and Fins are revealed to "experience it" for themselves to witness and learn the actual events. So, many fans are expecting that the new season of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit will offer more challenges in its dynamic as it touches on real-life cases.

So far, these are the key details of the episodes that have been shared publicly. But since the premiere is now fast-approaching, the fans can surely obtain the official trailers and teasers in the next few days.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 21 will air on September 26, on NBC.
