MasterChef season 10 finale aired on FOX on Wednesday and it finally revealed the new winner of the season. Nick DiGiovanni, Dorian Hunter, and Sarah Faherty fought hard for the title of MasterChef Trophy, but only one of them won the whopping $ 250,000 grand prize.

In MasterChef season 10 finale, the top three contestants prepared a superior three-course meal to impress the three judges. Nick chose a fun college theme for his cooking, Dorian chose her late mother's cooking, and Sarah chose the favorite dishes of her husband.

The top three presented interesting dishes for the appetizer. Nick presented his beer-pong inspired soft shell crab and pomme soufflé. Dorian, on the other hand, presented Seared Scallops with Cornmeal Tuille, Sweet Corn Puree, and Pickled Swiss Chard. Sarah prepared braised octopus, chorizo, ragu, and a vinaigrette.

The judges loved Nick's presentation, while they found Dorian's plate colorful and described her dish as "flavor-packed." The judges also loved Sarah's octopus, but they weren't impressed with the chorizo. Then, the top three proceeded to cook their main dish, and one was eliminated at the end of the task.

Nick presented a sea bass dish, Dorian prepared applewood smoked short rib with potato and horseradish gratin, and Sarah made herb-crusted lamb. The judges loved Nick's presentation, but Aaron got served an undercooked dish, and it led to his elimination.

Dorian and Sarah were the two remaining contestants competing for the title, and their final challenge was to prepare desserts. Dorian chose to prepare lemon-blueberry tart with lemon meringue, and then she plated it on a dish with her mother's hands imprinted on them.

Sarah presented rich and decadent chocolate torte, but divided the opinion of judges. Gordon and Joe loved her presentation, but Aaron felt the dessert was "too rich" for him. And after some deliberation, the judges picked Dorian as the winner of MasterChef season 10.

Dorian is a creeler by profession, but she wanted to have her restaurant and become a part of the food industry. So, she signed up for the popular cooking competition, hoping to pursue her dreams and learn more from the culinary minds. Now, Dorian has an opportunity to train under the finest chefs: Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich, and Aaron Sanchez.

Meanwhile, FOX has yet to announce if MasterChef will be renewed for another season. In a report via the TV Series Finale, the current installment has an average of three million viewers per week, and ratings dropped by 14 to 25 percent compared from the previous season.
