The finalists for Ink Master Season 12 Episode 16 are now revealed after the previous episode's challenge. Jason Lynn, Laura Marie, and Dani Ryan are going to face each other for the last time to be the new Ink Master this season.
In a Facebook Live interview, Lynn is confident he would win in the season finale. "I'm probably one of the few people who came here to win," he said when coaches asked why he thought he could bag all the awards. "There were a lot of people who were just happy to be here, to be given the opportunity to be on Ink Master, but I am one of the people here to [expletive] win."
According to Baltimore Sun, Lynn uses his vast tattoo experience to his advantage. He explained that, being in a small-town environment and working alone for a long time, he learned to take everything that would come his way. Whatever it would be, he tried to follow and give the client what they wanted. He even saw this as his advantage. He is not a "one-trick-pony" tattoo artist; thus, people like him on the show.
Before Lynn, Marie, and Ryan made it to Ink Master Season 12 Episode 16, they were tasked to survive a tattoo marathon. They were set to create four 90-minute tattoos: one would be designed by themselves, while the other three were made by their competitors, per Inked Mag.
They also took a second test, wherein they were tasked to make tattoo pieces based on their fellow contenders' best pieces in the competition. Fortunately, they were able to choose the best tattoo they wanted. Marie got the highest rank, selecting Lynn's plague doctor masterpiece. Lynn came the second-highest, picking Marie's alien, and Ryan came third with Lynn's broccoli wizard.
In Ink Master Season 12 Episode 16, the last three finalists will have to create a 35-hour back piece at home with the design of their choice. However, Lynn, Marie, and Ryan have to choose their competitors' style.
Lynn and Marie assigned Ryan color bio-mechanical, while Lynn and Ryan designated Marie with the traditional color Japanese. Lastly, Marie and Ryan gave Lynn black-and-grey realism.
Ink Master Season 12 Episode 16 is set to be out on Tuesday, Sept. 24, on Paramount Network. The lucky winner will bring home $100,000 cash prize, an editorial feature on Inked Magazine, and, of course, the title of Ink Master.
