Adam Lind is returning in Teen Mom 2 Season 9, and it makes Chelsea Houska very uncomfortable. The MTV show has teased the return of Lind after two years of absence due to some legal issues.
Even though Jenelle Evans is no longer part of the show, Teen Mom 2 assured that the drama would continue in the series. Chelsea could have a turbulent season as the father of her 10-year-old daughter, Aubree, will show up this season.
Adam left Teen Moms 2 in 2017 following his domestic violence arrest and tested positive for illegal drugs while on a custody battle for Aubree. Chelsea, later on, got the full custody of Aubree and also changed her daughter's last name to Lind-DeBoer last season.
Now that Adam will return this season, Chelsea is not pleased about it. In a teaser for the upcoming episode, Adam is seen hugging Aubree after her little league games. Chelsea is at the other side of the playing field, holding her one-year-old daughter Layne with husband Cole DeBoer.
"Oh my God I'm uncomfortable," she complains after seeing the father and daughter from afar.
Meanwhile, Teen Mom 2 fans have mixed reaction about how Chelsea view Adam's return. Some say Chelsea should not feel uncomfortable as she already has a great man in her life.
Although Aubree looks thrilled to see her father again, Chelsea is not delighted of the father and daughter reunion. The two haven't seen each other for quite some time now after Adam missed his scheduled visits with his daughter.
The court, previously, allowed visitations that are supervised by Adam's mother, Donna. They were allowed to have lunch with Aubree at school every Tuesday. A judge, however, made changes on the visitation agreement and made it through a visitation center after Adam failed a court-ordered drug test.
When a fan asked how Adam could visit Aubree outside of a visitation center, another Teen Mom 2 viewers replied that he could be with his mother when Adam shows off in his daughter's game. Some hopes that Adam and Aubree will have time to catch up and Chelsea will not make it about her.
Meanwhile, many believe that Adam's return could be an attempt of the show to bring some intense drama since Jenelle is no longer part of the cast. In May, Jenelle was fired from the show after her husband, David Eason, sparked controversy for killing her dog Nugget.
The incident resulted in her temporarily losing her kids while Child Protective Services investigate if their home is safe for the kid. David has been fired from the show in 2018 for posting transphobic and homophobic tweets. Teen Moms 2 air every Tuesday at 8/7c on MTV.
