Celebrity couple Rain and Kim Tae Hee welcomed Baby Number 2 into their family after the actress made a safe delivery in a hospital in Seoul. However, fans should not expect the proud parents to share snaps of their little princess on social media anytime soon.

According to a report by Yonhap News, Rain and Kim Tae Hee welcomed their second daughter into the world on Thursday.

"We would like to share good news about Kim Tae-hee and Jung Ji-hoon (Rain) couple's new family member. Kim gave birth to her second child, a daughter, today at a hospital in Seoul," the actress' management agency, Story J Company, said in their statement.

The agency confirmed that Kim Tae Hee and her baby daughter are in good health and resting as their family surrounds them.

With the arrival of her new bundle of joy, fans would have to wait a little bit more for Kim Tae Hee to appear in a new project. However, the agency confirmed that she would do her best to return to acting soon.

It can be recalled that, after Kim Tae Hee and Rain tied the knot in a small church in Seoul in 2017, the actress was already considering some projects. Her comeback was halted after she became pregnant with their first child several months into the marriage.

Very little is known about Rain and Kim Tae Hee's private life. Rain is known to be fiercely protective of his wife and family. He even avoids talking about his girls on variety shows. The couple has not even shared a picture of their baby girl from the time she was born.

The only description that fans can go on is an interview with Rain who described his baby girl as beautiful and having double eyelids like her mom. He also described the name they got for her as synonymous to superior, Channel Korea reported.

Fans may be wondering what this means for Rain and Kim Tae Hee's newborn princess. While curiosity is high about what the baby looks like, it is highly unlikely that she will grow up in the public eye like the kiddie cast members of Return of Superman or My House Husband.

In an interview early this year, Rain explains why he is very protective of his family life. "In the future, I plan to keep a wall between work and family. It's because I don't want my family to get hurt. Having a family doesn't affect the kinds of projects I choose, but I don't want to open up about my family. I'm careful. I have guilt because of what happened to my mother in the past..."

He said that he is open to criticism as a celebrity. Rain said he understands if people will stop following him, but he will remain firm that he will not stand for anyone crossing the line and touching his family.
