After a major blow between Saitama and the Monster Association, a lot of fans are wondering if there will be One-Punch Man Season 3. People behind the hit anime series remain mum about the show's future, but the hopes are high for Caped Baldy's return.

According to ComicBook, there is evidence hinting that the show is returning. And by the looks of it, the previous season is not the end of Saitama's story.

The show's official Twitter account revealed the "second round" has ended, but "One-Punch is not over" yet. "We will do our best to deliver the anime again," the tweet read.

Although the tweet doesn't confirm that One-Punch Man Season 3 will be in the works, it only proves the show's creators and animators will be working on its return. With the show's popularity, it is not far that a new installment will come fans' way.

However, it may take some time before fans once again see Saitama back to the small screen. To recall, viewers had waited for almost four years before Season 2 came out. The show launched in October 2015 and ended in December of the same year. The second season, on the other hand, was released in April of this year and concluded in July.

Season 2 suffered a major controversy with the change of artwork and production due to the switch of the production house, from Madhouse Entertainment to JC Staff. Fans deemed some scenes in the latest season to be of low quality compared to the works of its original studio.

So, if One-Punch Man Season 3 will be in the works, will it remain to be under the care of JC Staff or another new studio? Aside from the production house, the second season's main staff had changed. Yoshikazu Iwanami replaced director Shoji Hata. However, character designer Chikashi Kubota, series composition writer Tomohiro Suzuki, and composer Makoto Miyazaki remained on their posts.

Anime critics praised the anime's main animator Kenichi Aoki for his work on the second season, but they believed it had collapsed and even Aoki couldn't save it from bad production. Monsters and Critics noted the production work was so hard that the staff needed to delay Season 2's release of its Blu-ray Disc and DVD box sets by two months.

However, One-Punch Man Season 2's OVA episode will be now shipped, starting on Oct. 25. Toonami, on the other hand, will release its English dubbed version on Oct. 12. So far, fans still have to wait and see if there will be One-Punch Man Season 3 and if JC Staff will still handle it.
