After eight years, USA Network's hit legal drama series is now coming to an end. With one episode left in its entire course, will the cast of Suits be able to deliver a satisfying end to the fandom?
Patrick J. Adams' return is one of the most-awaited events on the show since he left one season ago. So, upon his comeback in the new season, it made the series' final run even more compelling. Although he did not return as a series regular, he will join the cast in the final bow.
In the previous episode titled, Thunder Away, fans have witnessed how things went south between Harvey and Mike. It all started when Faye "wrongfully" terminated Samantha. And to make matters even more complex, Harvey and Loius stood by Faye's side against Samantha and Mike.
While Harvey and Mike know how to separate their professional lives from their ones, the two ended up in bad terms as seen in the final moments of the episode. But, according to TV Insider, Harvey and Mike will seemingly patch things up in the finale as depicted in the official trailer.
Based on the clips, they will "team-up" for their one final "con." Mike insinuated that they've been conning the world since then, so, why not do it again to bring Faye down to where she belongs. Harvey agreed with his idea. And it's likely for Suits Season 9 finale to start in this point.
Little is known about the "final con." But, whatever it is, Mike and Harvey will surely succeed. As for the firm, it will stand up once more.
Aside from Harvey and Mike's plans, fans will also witness other characters' victorious wins. As per TV Fanatic, Louis and Sheila's wedding will be seen before everything wraps up.
No details have been shared as well about the event. But, the series may end with the wedding with all of the characters present.
Another union that fans might see is the engagement of Harvey and Donna. Cinema Blend contends that this might happen just before the final conclusion. The death of Harvey's mother is somehow deemed as a foreshadowing of this possible union between the two. With the ring already in Harvey's possession, it will be just a matter of time and courage for him to pop the question.
Patrick J. Adams' Mike Ross will sure see the end of Suits. But the case is still open for Gina Torres' Jessica Pearson. Fans will love to see the original cast, but no confirmation has been given yet if she will return for the final bow of the series.
Suits Season 9 finale will air on September 25, on USA Network.
