Everyone is still hung up on Bachelorette Hannah's season. But with The Bachelor Season 24's early teasers, fans are now looking forward to the show's new installment.
Many reports are claiming that this will be the most "dramatic" season yet. No one knows why, but the fans are more hyped.
According to Cinema Blend, the filming of the new season is about to start this week. So, it is expected that Peter will now get to know the identities of the 33 contestants.
Peter Weber is a Bachelorette alum. Although many are interested in his character, no one has seen it coming that he will end up holding the rose of the new season.
With the fan-favorites Derek and Mike as his contenders to become The Bachelor Season 24, all hopes and well-wishes fell short on Peter. But, in the end, he still succeeded.
Some reports suggest that he was already picked long before the selection event. Even so, no confirmation has been given. Besides, these are just theories and assumptions made by the fandom.
Earlier this week, the show has already released a set of "early teasers." Upon naming Peter as the next bachelor, the identities of the 33 women followed.
Cosmopolitan also released a gallery of photos of the contestants including their names and locations. Based on the images, there are now more contestants of "color" than the previous seasons. However, new issues have risen afterward since many critics noticed that there is only one body type.
The 33 women who will be participating are all thin. Glamour noted that this is not surprising given the show has run for many years with this kind of dynamic. But, the "lack of diversity remains disappointing, especially in terms of body frames."
It is also pointed out how The Bachelor, along with its spinoffs, are not fans of body diversity. And the previous seasons are all pieces of evidence to these claims.
While the heads and bosses of the show have already explained that they will be "casting" more people of different colors and body types in the future, they also stressed out that the lead of the show or season will be the one to decide who will ultimately win. But, whatever the issue though, fans are just excited to witness Peter's possible happy ending.
The Bachelor Season 24 is expected to arrive on the first Monday of 2020, on ABC.
