In the next few weeks, Riverdale Season 4 will already drop on The CW. While teasers and updates are of shortage recently, new details finally came into the light earlier this week.

In an interview with the showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, he revealed that he wanted everything to be kept in secret. This is why teasers are in scarce. However, with the show's arrival next month, it seems that he is now ready to give a few hints about Riverdale Season 4.

Elite Daily gathered what Sacasa has posted on his social media accounts about the show and they all pretty much center on one character: Cheryl Blossom.

The first set of teaser photos depicted Cheryl in a "confusing" double image mirroring a good-looking sailor and the usual look of Cheryl Blossom. The side note though explains what the image is all about: a Chimera.

It is a single organism (Cheryl), that is made up of cells from two or more individuals (the sailor and the normal Cheryl). And it contains two sets of DNA.

Fans are speculating that this might pertain to the fact that Cheryl and Jason are twins. Others, however, take it as an ominous warning that Cheryl might turn into someone who will end up being the big bad of Riverdale Season 4.

No further confirmation has been made since the teasers. But, fans are disturbed with the thought that Cheryl Blossom will be in another danger.

The arc of Madelaine Petsch's character has been always in a downward spiral. In the span of three seasons, all that ever happened to her was suffer from pain and trauma.

Having to experience another in the new season gives fans the idea that the writers are pretty brutal with her. Whatever the case though, fans are just excited to see what will happen in Riverdale Season 4.

Express UK shared another teaser photo of Cheryl Blossom. This time, it shows a creepy image of her while holding a creepy doll of Jason. It is hinted that these changes in her character will happen in between Episodes 6 and 8.

In other reports, Decider revealed that Riverdale Season 4 will start with an episode dedicated to the show's very own, Luke Perry. It will carry the title, Goodbye To Fred Andrews, that will air on October 9, on The CW.
