Windows 10 May 2019 Update is making great progress in terms of adoption. The latest version of the Microsoft OS, according to a new report, is inching toward 50 percent of users.
The report comes from AdDuplex, which shows that the May 2019 Update has seen an increase in its market share to 45.5 percent, based on the statistics obtained from Microsoft Store apps carrying the company's adverts.
Today's release also brings quite a long list of fixes, addressing several issues that the Windows 10 1903 (aka the May 2019 Update) users have been facing.
Microsoft is currently testing the upcoming Windows 10 19H2 builds through its Slow ring Insiders and Windows 10 2020 builds via the Fast ring community. Meanwhile, the October 2019 Update should arrive for the public in several weeks to come.
The adoption level of Windows 10 May 2019 Update, based on data from the report, has quadrupled, which goes to show that the Windows maker is now ready for deployment.

However, there is an existing upgrade block that affects devices with some Intel and Broadcom Wi-Fi adapters. Microsoft is already hard at work on a fix along with its partners, and it won't be long before Windows 10 version 1903 is made available to these devices.
It's worth noting that a quarter of Microsoft's user base is still using the October 2018 Update, but the number of users on this version has reportedly declined from 28.7 percent in August.
As for those still on the April 2018 Update and have been receiving upgrade prompts, and you're not ready to move to Windows 10's latest version just yet, note that you can still postpone the process but not indefinitely.
Earlier this month, Microsoft delivered cumulative updates to several versions of Windows 10, including the May 2019 Update. The M19U has been plagued with numerous bugs since it rolled out, which according to users included a Cortana/Search issue that caused CPU usage hike.
Windows 10 version 1903 should be safe to install for all users, arriving with useful features such as passwordless login, Windows Sandbox, and access Linux files from within File Explorer.
