TWICE outdid itself by breaking its record when numbers for their comeback, Feel Special surpassed the record of Fancy You for first-week album sales.

According to a report by All Kpop, Hanteo chart showed that TWICE's Feel Special sold 154,001 on its first week, which surpassed the sales from Fancy You by close to 3,000 copies. This means that TWICE, currently, holds the top 2 spots in girl group albums with the highest sales for the first seven days.

The third spot is occupied by BLACKPINK whose lone comeback for 2019, Kill This Love, sold 146,000 copies. Fourth place belongs to IZ*ONE HEART*IZ at 132,000 copies. The fifth to 10th spots all belong to TWICE with Twicetagram (129K), Yes or Yes (118K), Signal (114K), TWICEcoaster: Lane 2 (113K), What is Love (109K) and Summer Nights with 106,000 copies, respectively.

TWICE is dominating not just album sales but streaming platforms as well as their eighth mini-album Feel Special dominated the iTunes charts in 26 countries. The title track ranked No. 1 in United States, Canada, New Zealand, Mexico, Russia, Japan, Brazil, Soompi reported

All of the seven tracks in TWICE's Feel Special also took the Top 7 spots in Line Music real-time chart in Japan, which proved that the Japanese ONCE is more than ready to welcome Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu to their next Japanese dome tour.

It can be recalled that the first round of TWICE's Japan Dome Tour reportedly racked in some $3.9 million per concert and sold 215,000 tickets for five shows across five stadiums. TWICE's #Dreamday performed to sold-out stages for five nights across three cities: Osaka, Tokyo, and Nagoya.

Feel Special is a particularly memorable song in TWICE's discography because it was written by JYP Entertainment CEO JY Park, including the members' own experiences into the lyrics. In an interview, it was revealed that a part of the song shone the focus on Mina's struggle with anxiety, which requires her to be sidelined for the promotion of the album to get the rest and treatment she needs. Despite not being able to participate in group activities, Mina was still featured in the recording of the album, Billboard reported.

The Feel Special MV also highlights TWICE member Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu's unique characteristics which make them special and important to the group.
