There are a lot of incidents that could happen to a passenger when traveling on the air. But, what is the worst thing that could happen than sitting in your own urine for seven hours when a flight attendant didn't allow you to use the bathroom? This is what exactly happened to a 26-year-old woman who traveled from Dublin to Colombia using Air Canada.

The unnamed woman claimed she was forced to sit in a seat soaked with her own urine during a seven-hour flight through Air Canada. What happened? A crew didn't let her use the bathroom.

The agitated passenger told Dublin Live the flight was delayed for two hours, so she had to use the bathroom. However, despite her pleas to pee, saying it was an "emergency," the cabin crew refused.

She even said she asked the crew four times for two hours if she could use the toilet but to no avail. After the attendant "aggressively" told her to stay in her seat, she couldn't hold it anymore and wet herself. Unfortunately, she remained seated in her own urine for seven hours.

According to The Sun, the woman felt "completely humiliated" for being ignored by the crew for the rest of the flight. She also claimed she tried to complain to the same staff that didn't let her use the toilet, only to find out they were all "hidden at the back of the plane."

When they arrived in Toronto for a stopover, she had to pay for a hotel so that she could clean herself up. She also complained about what happened to Air Canada when she learned another passenger was allowed to use the bathroom during the delay, while she was not.

Air Canada reportedly offered the woman flight vouchers worth CAN$500 (NZ$605) in compensation. However, she refused to accept the offer and said she would never board the airline again after what happened.

Urine accidents are not something new during the flight. Stuff noted a passenger, named Andrew Wilkinson, of British airways complained after being given a "damp seat" full of urine in 2017. To compensate, he was only handed with wet wipes to clean up the mess.

A woman on a flight in China was also reported for letting her grandchild pee in the middle of the aisle in 2016. In addition, another passenger left a bottle full of urine on a plane seat that was already leaking. As of this writing, Air Canada has yet to comment on the issue.
