Chilling Adventures of Sabrina became an instant hit following its release on Netflix in 2018. The first and second seasons are available to watch in the streaming platform, and a lot of viewers are now excited to see the third installment. So, here's what we know so far about Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3.
Right now, the official release date of the third season wasn't yet revealed. But, many speculated Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 will likely arrive in November or December 2019. Just recently, the filming of the third part officially wrapped up, and there were reports that the fourth season will start its filming around February 2020.
As for the cast of the latest installment, Kiernan Shipka will surely be back as the lead character Sabrina Spellman. Other returning cast members include Ross Lynch (as Harvey), Lucy Davis (Hilda), Miranda Otto (Zelda), Chance Perdomo (Ambrose), Jazz Sinclair (Roz), Tati Gabrielle (Prudence), Abigail Cowen (Dorcas), and Adeline Rudolph (Agatha).
Michelle Gomez (Madam Satan/Lilith), Richard Coyle (Father Blackhood), and Bronson Pinchot (Principal Hawthrone) are also expected to return in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3. Additionally, Gavin Leatherwood and Lachlan Watson are promoted as series regular in the third and fourth installment -- reprising their roles as Nick and Susie/Theo, respectively.
The plot the third installment has been already hinted in the season 2 finale. In the third season, Sabrina and the "Fright Club" will go to Hell and save Nick. This will be an easy task for them, considering that the "doorway" is located within Greendale mines. However, they need to find out the spell or ritual to open the door, which is dangerous for Sabrina and her friends.
Lilith is now the Queen of Hell, so she wouldn't give the imprisoned body of Nick just like that. Sabrina needs to learn the hard way to get her boyfriend back. Meanwhile, Zelda has declared herself as the High Priestess of the Church of Night. She and Hilda will lead the remaining young generation of Witches and Warlocks. Ambrose also joined Prudence on her hunt for father Blackhood.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina season 3 will reportedly have fewer episodes compared to the preceding season. The upcoming installment will only have 8 episodes instead of 10. Also, the official trailer of the new season was not yet released, but cast members have been dropping clips and teasing fans all the secrets behind-the-scenes.
