A lot is expected to happen in the premiere of The Flash Season 6. With the coming of the much-awaited crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths, and Barry's (Grant Gustin) disappearance, here is what to come in Episode 1 and the rest of the season.

The Flash Season 6 Episode 1 will feature more of Iris (Candice Patton) and less of Barry. Although Barry will play a big part in stopping the threat to Central City, Iris will play an important role. Her profession may have something to do here, but it will focus mostly on her grief over Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy).

The pilot episode may also introduce the two villains of the season. According to Hypable, the new season will be split into two or three parts, and the first focus will be on Bloodwork (Sendhil Ramamurthy) before it shifts to Godspeed (Kindall Charters). Although it may setup Bloodwork's back story, Godspeed may also make an appearance in the first episode.

The premiere episode is also expected to pick up where the previous season left off exactly, but it is said to quickly feature a time jump to some months in the future. It will get near where Arrow Season 7's timeline left off, but Iris and Barry will still be seen grieving for Nora here.

Fans will also see Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) playing a significant role in The Flash Season 6 Episode 1. In the trailer, The Flash is seen giving the much-needed attention to Killer Frost. The two will be working out to put down this season's big bad, Bloodwork, and she will also be an essential part of the Team Flash.

Viewers will also get to see Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh). A series of his different characters have been seen from Seasons 1 to 5. So this time, it will introduce a futuristic Indiana Jones-like daredevil that Cavanagh will surely perfectly perform, per Bam Smack Pow.

Lastly, Barry will travel through time to see the Crisis in The Flash Season 6 Episode 1. Nora has altered the timeline in an effort to save her father. Although it remains to be seen if she manages to do that, she has brought the Crisis forward, bringing it to 2019 instead of 2024.

So, Barry will travel to the date of Crisis to see what the threat looks like and if he can make it stop. As he seems to witness different futures and billions of deaths, will he be able to control it? Find out on The Flash Season 6 Episode 1, "Into the Void," when it hits the small screens on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at The CW.
