Fans of Breaking Bad have been waiting for the sequel of the multi-awarded series, and Vince Gilligan did not fail. El Camino has been confirmed to premiere next month and, now, fans are wondering if there will be Better Call Saul Season 5 character that will appear in the Breaking Bad follow-movie.

Many are speculating that AMC has yet to announce a premiere date for Better Call Saul Season 5, possibly because of El Camino. There would be some elements in the movie that is tied up in the fifth season, and Vince Gilligan and company would want to see the audience reaction to El Camino first. Gilligan created both projects.

The most rational connections between the two at this point are the characters. Walter White is, probably, on top of everyone's list among the Breaking Bad characters that they would like to see in both Better Call Saul Season 5 and El Camino.

However, the chemistry-teacher-turned-meth-kingpin hasn't shown his face in Better Call Saul and is not expected to have at least a cameo in the upcoming season. This means Bryan Cranston's character is out of the list at the moment.

To narrow the list of BCS characters that could appear in El Camino, it is worthy to note that the two shows have different timelines. Better Call Saul is a prequel of Breaking Bad, while El Camino is a sequel of the same series. Hence, if there are characters in BCS that are likely to appear in Aaron Paul's upcoming TV movie, they will be the following.

Lawyer Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) as Cinnabon manager Gene. In Breaking Bad, Jimmy becomes Saul Goodman before he went into hiding and assumed the identity of mall Cinnabon manager Gene. Since Jesse Pinkman (Paul) is hiding from authorities in El Camino, he might try to look for Saul and ask for his help on how he can live with a new identity like him. However, bringing Saul in could also mean he is exposing his new identity.

Speaking of creating a new identity, Ed (Robert Forster) may also appear in Better Call Saul Season 5 and El Camino. If Saul will not be an option for Jesse, Ed is the guy that could make him disappear.

Ed is an associate of Saul who specializes in protecting his clients by giving them new identities and new places to live. He was the one who hides Walter in a cabin in New Hampshire and the one who helped Saul start a new like in Omaha.

Lavell Crawford is expected to reprise his role as Huell Babineaux in Better Call Saul Season 5. Huell was last seen in Breaking Bad Season 5 when he was taken into a safe house and duped by Hank and Gomez into thinking Jesse was dead. After the two DEA officers got killed, no one knows what happen to Huell at the safe house.

It turned out that Huell was found at the safe house alive. He is now out on the street and possibly reconnect with Jesse.

El Camino is coming on Netflix on October 11. Better Call Saul, on the other hand, will not premiere until next year.
