The production of Ozark Season 3 is currently underway, and things are expected to get even harder for the Byrdes as new personalities are about to arrive in town and may cause trouble in their business. The new addition in the series is just what fans are expecting considering the deaths in the previous season.

Two of the most interesting characters in the first two seasons of Ozark -- FBI agent Roy Petty (Jason Butler Harner) and Cade Langmore (Trevor Long) -- ended up killed in the previous installment. Both of them have an interest in taking down Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman). Who will take their roles in the upcoming Ozark Season 3?

Marty's problem with the Feds is far from over despite the death of Agent Petty. The FBI is still on his tail more than ever. Aside from his connection to the cartel and money laundering business, the FBI would surely investigate the murder of Roy while on assignment on Marty's case.

According to Deadline, two new faces are set to be introduced in Ozark Season 3. Iron Fist actor Tom Pelphrey will portray the role of Wendy's (Laura Linney) younger brother, Ben, who arrives in town unannounced. He visits the family to remind his sister of the past that Wendy has been trying to forget for a long time.

Jessica Jones actress Jessica Frances Dukes also joined the series. She will be Maya Miller, the FBI agent who will poke around the newly-opened casino of the Byrde. Maya will be using her expertise as a forensic accountant to take Marty and his business down. While in town, she might also look into the murder of her colleague, Agent Petty.

Other new additions to the cast are Power actor Joseph Sikora and Ten Days in the Valley's Felix Solis. Both actors will be playing characters that are close to the cartel.

Sikora is Frank Cosgrove Jr., the hotheaded son of Kansas City mob boss Frank Cosgrove. He will reportedly clash with Ruth (Julia Garner) when they are forced to work together in the new casino.

Solis, on the other hand, will play Omar Navarro, the ruthless leader of the second-largest drug cartel in Mexico. The Brydes will finally meet him in Season 3 and will have the taste of how Navarro attacks his enemies.

Aside from Bateman, Linney, and Garner, other series regulars that will return in Ozark Season 3 are Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gaertner. They will reprise their roles as Marty and Wendy's children Charlotte and Jonah, respectively. Lisa Emery (Darlene Shell) and Janet McTeer (Helen Pierce) will also return. Ozark Season 3 is expected to premiere in 2020.
