TWICE is proving its growing reach in North America as it entered the Canadian Hot 100 for the first time for its comeback single Feel Special.

TWICE Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, who are now promoting as an eight-member group for their Feel Special mini-album, entered the Canadian Hot 100 chart at No. 82, All Kpop reported.

This marks a huge accomplishment for TWICE as Hot 100 is an all-genre singles chart, which means that they are competing against international artists and a wide array of music for the attention of the Canadian audience.

TWICE's Feel Special EP also landed on No. 10 of the Heatseekers Albums chart with 197,426 sold. This has resulted in TWICE being recognized by Hanteo as the best selling Kpop girl group album in its history.

TWICE's performance on the Canadian Hot 100 chart marks only a portion of its international success. Feel Special, which was written and produced by JYP Entertainment CEO JY Park, also took the No. 1 spot on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart, edging out Liam Gallagher's Why Me Why Not and Blink 182's NINE.

TWICE also managed to take the top spot in the iTunes charts in 26 countries, including the U.S., Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Philippines, New Zealand, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, and Taiwan.

Feel Special also landed on the No. 1 spot of Billboard's World Digital Song Sales. This was the second time that TWICE peaked on the No. 1 spot after their 2017 hit Likey, which stayed on the top position for two weeks, the site reported.

Feel Special has been touted as one of TWICE's most meaningful songs, which seems to address negative and hurtful comments directed at the members by anti-fans. It was reported that JY Park interviewed each of the members individually before writing the lyrics of the song to incorporate their thoughts into the comeback track.

The song is especially relatable to TWICE's Mina, who is currently taking a break from group activities after suffering from anxiety. While she was able to participate in the recording of the album, JYP has announced that she will not be joining the promotion for the album so she could focus on her mental health and recovery.

For the remaining members Jihyo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, they have dedicated their show victories and successes to Mina and said that she will always be part of the group even though she is currently not touring with them.
