IU is well-loved in the industry because she knows how to take care of her co-stars while filming and even beyond production. The singer and actress recently completed her successful Hotel del Luna drama, but she is still thoughtful about her juniors now that they are already working on other projects.
According to a report by All Kpop, IU recently sent a coffee truck to show her support for her Hotel del Luna co-star Lee Do Hyun, who posted the thoughtful gesture on Instagram.
Lee Do Hyun, who is currently filming for the new tVn drama Sweet Home with Lee Jin Wook, shared a sweet message for IU as he posed before the coffee truck.
"The firefly has been reborn. Thank you dear sister. #Did this cart also appear on 'Guys Who Died After Eating Delicious Food' #Just one bite," he posted. In the background, the message on the coffee truck reads: "IU is cheering on director Lee Eung Bok and actor Lee Do Hyun very much!" She also included her pet name for his Hotel del Luna character and incorporated it with his new drama.
IU has made a lot of friendships over the years in working in the music industry and acting for television dramas. There was no shortage of coffee trucks sent her way while she was filming her last project. It was reported that she received a coffee truck from her best friend and Goblin actress Yoo In Na on the set. Because of their closeness, the actress even used IU's real name Ji Eun in her greeting.
Upon discharge from the military, IU's former The Producers and Dream High co-star Kim Soo Hyun also visited the set of Hotel del Luna to personally deliver his surprise in the form of a coffee truck for his good friend. Before his enlistment to the military, Kim Soo Hyun appeared in one of IU's Ending Scene MVs as a special favor to her, Hello Kpop reported.
Another Kpop idol and actress, Sulli, also sent IU a coffee truck during the filming of Hotel del Luna to give her support. It was a treat for the cast and crew.
IU, recently, celebrated her 11th debut anniversary and is reportedly focusing on releasing on a new album to celebrate the milestone. In a recent fan meeting, she announced that she will be touring the world for her Love Poem series of concerts, Koreaboo reported.
