When Apple launched the iPhone 11 series, it mentioned that it would soon introduce Deep Fusion, which is a new feature that greatly improves the smartphone's camera performance. A month after, it appears that the latest camera technology from Apple is finally ready. Earlier today, Apple seeded the iOS 13.2, which fixes one annoying aspect in shooting videos using iPhone; but it seems that the Deep Fusion feature is only limited to iPhone 11, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Pro Max users.

The Cupertino-based tech giant finally introduced the option to change the frame rate and resolution of video recordings in the camera app with the latest Apple iOS 13.2. The latest feature minimizes the noise and improves the level of details in the image. Under the hood, the Phone takes several frames at various exposures then processes it pixel by pixel to enhance the image quality similar to SmartHDR but a lot smarter.

It is very easy to enable iPhone 11 series' Deep Fusion feature. iPhone 11 users simply need to go to the Camera app and begin taking photos. Since this feature is automatically enabled when the iPhone 11 installs the iOS 13.2, users are not required to press any buttons to activate it. For iPhone 11 users who would like to see the difference between a photo with Deep Fusion camera technology and those without, simply go to the Settings app, Camera, and turn on the Photos Capture Outside the Frame toggle.

According to Apple, if the iPhone 11 is set in this mode, the Deep fusion feature will not work. The Internet is quite divided for now about Apple's Deep Fusion being the best camera feature of the year. You can check out the photos below, the other one is taken with Deep Fusion feature while the other is taken without the latest iPhone 11 camera technology.

The only question right now is why Apple is restricting this amazing camera technology to the iPhone 11 series? Well, it could be Apple's way of encouraging photography enthusiasts to upgrade to the latest flagship iPhone.
