Samsung, being one of the smartphone giants in the industry, will always make sure that it has competitive and top of the line products in the market to ward off competition. The company has continuously achieved this goal over the years with the ground-breaking technologies it integrates and introduces in its products. Earlier today, the Seoul-based tech and electronics giant was teasing about a new Exynos processor and with an event happening later, it appears that an announcement might be inevitable.
The official account of Samsung on Twitter recently shared a post teasing about Samsung's new Exynos processor. Unfortunately, the teaser is shy on details about the upcoming processor. Rumors have it, however, that the company could be teasing about the Samsung Exynos 9630 or the Samsung Exynos 9710.
There are also several sources claiming that the Seoul-based tech and electronics giant might introduce the Samsung Exynos 9830. Aside from a possible new processor, the company also hinted about Artificial Intelligence in the Twitter post. Many believe that it supports the speculations about a new Exynos processor with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU).
Another report claims that Samsung might introduce the Exynos 9630 as a processor designed for mid-range devices such as the Samsung Galaxy A series. With the Samsung Tech Day scheduled to start at 10 AM PT, enthusiasts are hoping to hear more about the company's future plans and are anticipating more conclusive talk about the Exynos processor.
Samsung has been testing Exynos 9630 chipset for quite some time now according to rumors. Earlier this year, it was reported that Samsung Foundry has already finished the development of 5nmm Exynos EUV chips which are anticipated to be released in 2020. According to Samsung, the 5nm EUV chips promises a 25 percent increase in silicone density, a 20 percent decrease in power consumption, and 10 percent higher performance at the same power draw.

The Seoul-based tech and electronics giant also recently announced the Exynos 980 mobile processor, which is Samsung's first SoC with a 5G modem for superior 5G connectivity. The Exynos 980 is anticipated to power premium mid-range devices next year as the company attempts to reach other markets by offering 5G-ready handsets to other market segments. But, this is in no way a confirmation that Samsung is going to launch a new Exynos processor.
This is just a speculation that must be taken with a pinch of salt and with skepticism.
