Google did not disappoint expectant fans when it released the Google Pixel 4 series. The latest flagship smartphone series from the search engine giant is flawed, but it has exciting and cool features. With Apple reportedly developing the iPhone 12, many consumers would like to see these top Pixel 4 features on the iPhone 12.

Motion Sense

This is the latest feature of Google Pixel 4 based on the 3D-sensing radar embedded in the front of the phone. With the help of low-power radar, Pixel 4 has the ability to sense or detect when the user's arm approaches the smartphone or when the user walks away from the device. It also comes with cool applications like waving an arm in the air to skip a song.

Motion Sense can also switch off the display when the user walks away from the device. It can also silence an alarm or make a tone ring as the user reaches for the device. The Motion Sense also starts face scanning as soon as the user reaches out for the device.

If Apple will do this on iPhone 12, its Face ID would be faster than the new Google Pixel 4. Apple also does some kind of this by utilizing the user's eyes to sense when it is looking at the iPhone. It also offers True Depth Camera technology that senses depth. But, upgrading the iPhone 12 with radar will make it more interesting.

Bypass Lock Screen

Bypassing locked screen is an unappreciated Google Pixel 4 feature that users hope to see on iPhone 12. Although the iPhone can unlock the phone as fast as possible, it does not advances to the home screen until the user swipes from the bottom following the unlock. Google Pixel 4 will easily take the user right to the home screen without the need for swipe as soon as the user is authenticated.

Google Pixel 4 also offers an option to disable this feature for users who prefer this or for those who want a more seamless user experience. iPhone 12 should do this too since the swiping gesture becomes tiring and slow, and users would like to proceed to the home screen right away.

Sides With Matte Finish

Both iPhone 11 and Google Pixel 4 have several variants that come with a matte or glossy back. However, it is only the Google Pixel 4 that offers matte sides. Having matte sides give the hand a great feeling and does not show fingerprints unlike in glossy iPhone. Apple will hopefully introduce the matte sides on iPhone 12.
