There have been rumors since the summer of 2018 that the legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant might come out of retirement and join LeBron James in Los Angeles Lakers. It was understandable during that time because the LA Lakers were in a tight situation needing another superstar to help James carry the team and grab the NBA title. But, even though the Lakers were able to pair LeBron with Anthony Davis, fans are still urging the five-time NBA champion to wear the gold and purple jersey once again.

Finally, Kobe Bryant shared his thoughts on the issue. The NBA legend recently appeared on Candace Parker and Kristine Ledlow's podcast. The five-time NBA champion revealed that despite the fans' urging he has no desire to take the easier way to win his sixth NBA championship title.

CBS Sports quoted Kobe Bryant, stating that he likes to get his rings the hard way, adding that he like fighting and earning for them. Bryant also shared that even if he is offered the job, he does not like getting into an easier route, so he would not take it. That is a direct statement from the NBA superstar saying that he is not considering going back to the NBA again.

It is interesting to note though how the NBA legend admitted to having wished to be a part of the ongoing rivalry between the Los Angeles Clippers and Lakers considering the improvements, both teams have accomplished so far. Kobe Bryant said that the rivalry is awesome, and he is enjoying it just like everybody else. Bryant also added that he is also fascinated by how the coaching will bring these collections of wonderful talents together.

It is amazing to know how even a basketball legend like Kobe Bryant himself gets hyped with the ongoing competition between the Clippers and the Lakers, considering that both teams have been stuck in mediocrity for years. In addition to the NBA superstars on their rosters, both teams are packed with role and veteran players. But the NBA legend knows that Clippers and Lakers are not the only super teams in the NBA right now with an amazing roster of players.

The current NBA season is far more exciting and unpredictable compared to previous seasons because it is filled with NBA teams with superstars, and it is no longer limited to the Big Three or Superteams. With the current mix of players scattered all over the teams at this point, it's everybody's game.
