Greenleaf season 4 recently aired its midseason finale on OWN. Some believe that this is already the final episode of the fourth installment, but others suggest there are still more stories to tell and there will be Greenleaf season 4 episode 11 arriving earlier next year.

According to CarterMatt, Greenleaf season 4 episode 10, which aired on Tuesday, Nov. 5, is just the midseason finale -- not the final one for this season. The series hasn't reached the end of the road yet and there are still a lot of stories that should be explored in Greenleaf season 4 episode 11 -- particularly the cliffhanger that features a mystery man.

CarterMatt noted Greenleaf season 4 episode 11 will focus on that mystery man, who suddenly showed up in the closing minutes of the midseason finale. This mystery man appears to be making a lot of statements regarding the "expiration dates," something that you don't expect to hear from someone you don't actually know.

However, Greenleaf season 4 episode 11 will, reportedly, air sometime in 2020. While it's still a few months away, some are happy knowing the season will be back for more episodes. CarterMatt speculated OWN decided to do a split season as the network is also preparing for the fifth installment, especially since the series has an enormous social-media following.

For now, Greenleaf season 4 episode 11 is expected to air around January 2020. The specific release date was not yet revealed, but OWN will probably announce the episode's arrival before the year ends. There's also a chance that when the release date of the new episode is announced, the network may also drop its trailer as well.

In another related report, Greenleaf season 5 was not yet officially renewed by OWN. While there's a huge chance the series will be coming back for another installment, the network will still need to consider the performance and ratings of the show before announcing the fifth installment's renewal or cancelation.

Right now, Greenleaf is generating about a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic, with slightly more than 1 million live viewers every week. This is not a terrible performance for the series, but the ratings decline from where the show was in the previous season. But despite that, the series is still has a huge social media following, so there are a lot of viewers who will fight for it if ever it would be canceled.
