Empire season 6 episode 6 is arriving next week and we're going to see Cookie completely moving on and starting a new life without Lucious. Titled "Heart of Stone," the upcoming episode will see the character spending some time in Miami, and probably finding some sort of relief.
Based on the synopsis of Empire season 6 episode 6, Carol and Candace go on a girl's trip to Miami and they take Cookie to have some time and not to think about Lucious. Within this episode, Cookie will try to start all over and move forward with her life without him.
However, it's also hard to get away with Lucious' web. So, everything might not be easy for Cookie. She got tired of their feud, but he's still bitter after she left him at the airport in the previous season. The two had been at odds since then, with Cookie claiming Empire was founded on her drug money, but Lucious denied the claim.
Cookie got tired of fighting and finally put an end to their feud. This time, she walked out on her husband for good. It took a long time for her to realize she needs to start over, as, in the past, she couldn't leave him despite his never-ending issues.
As for what else is coming on Empire season 6 episode 6, Lucious needs to deal with some inward self-reflection after an unsettling visit with Leah. Andre, on the other hand, has to make a bold decision regarding the upcoming album of Treasure. Lastly, Giselle is trying to find Tiana a new audience, so she goes behind Becky's back.
In a related report, Taraji P. Henson (plays Cookie) discussed the flash-forward car explosion scene, which is nine months into the future and hints the character's possible demise. While it's still unknown whether or not she's behind the wheel when the car exploded, it's apparent that something bad may happen to her.
Perhaps, the explosion has something to do with Lucious, whose shocking death was also hinted earlier this season. Henson told TV Guide she was "blown away like the car" after reading the flash-forward scene. While many believe her character will die before the season ends, the actress teased "things are never what they seem" on the series.
Empire season 6 episode 6 will air on Tuesday, Nov. 12, on FOX.
