Unai Emery is still battling for his job despite recent assurance from CEO Raul Sanllehi. Arsenal has a formidable set of some of the best players but its performance is poor that fans point the blame to the Spanish coach. While the Arsenal CEO is supportive of Emery, he recently said that he is prepared to sack the coach in one condition.
Over the past weeks, there have been contradicting reports about the position of Arsenal on Unai Emery. Some reports claim that he will keep the job until the end of the campaign. Several others suggest that considering the busy Christmas and New Year schedules, he will be sacked in February 2020.
However, according to Daily Mail, the Arsenal CEO is prepared to sack Unai Emery only if the team's dire form continues. It can be recalled that in his previous interviews, Raul Sanllehi has backed Emery and stated that the team is disappointed just like everyone else on how things go both in terms of performances and results. Sanllehi also shared fans' sentiments on the Arsenal players and Unai Emery for their failure to deliver what is expected of them.
Arsenal bosses “100%” behind Unai Emery, deny considering change or talking to candidates, plan to review in summer. Raul Sanllehi shared that Arsenal believes Unai Emery is the right person for the job but also noted that the team has to improve to achieve its goals for the season. If Arsenal fails to convince but got some crucial points, then it looks like the Spanish football coach has a higher chance of seeing out the season. But, it appears that Sanllehi is much tougher now and he will remove the manager if it would mean putting the interest of the entire team first, Express said.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are determined to come out united especially at the time where supporters are turning on them, Express reported. This season has been a crisis for Arsenal with a weekend 2-0 defeat against Leicester, which is no longer a surprise to fans. The call for Unai Emery's resignation triggered speculations of his potential replacements.
Among them includes Massimiliano Allegri, currently on a sabbatical, and Jose Mourinho who was earlier reported to have dined with the Arsenal CEO. So far, there is no favorite but other names have already surfaced. This includes Mikel Arteta, Freddie Ljungberg, and Eddie Howe.
